If there aren't any businesses that fill a particular market or need, self-employed creators or traditional business that have a majority of workers belonging to a strong union are acceptable but the goal, here, is to create a real, viable alternative in the market that is accountable to the average person and has incentive to actually serve their community.

All suggestions must have a link to the website of the suggestion, if available; if not, phone numbers, a scan of a brochure of theirs, or something must be provided so members of this sub. can meaningfully do something with your information.
If the suggestion only serves a particular location, specify that location or region.
Include any other useful information such as accessibility concerns (does the suggestion only have a physical presence/location (is that location wheelchair accessible, if you know)? Does the suggestion deliver? Can you order online or must you call on the phone to place a delivery?).
